YOUR THOUGHTS - by Claude Peter Dhuet

How profound are the thoughts that stir,
Even the far outreaches of your mind?

And beckons you to declare,
Let not my thoughts lay hidden,
Lest they forever disappear.

Forget the fact that you are,
But a mediocre seer.

Call forth your thoughts, hide them not,
Too long have they stayed hidden,
For within those thoughts are stored,
The essence of your being.

For many years hence, when you are gone,
And you are most forgotten,
The words and thoughts you leave behind,
Perchance ,
Could linger on forever.
