When you turn sixty, you've lived six decades,
And you wonder if you?ll live any more.
You're harder to lie to, tougher to fool
And more selective who you let through your door.

No longer a heart throb that candidates lust for,
No longer a body of perfect form.
You're kinder, gentler, and more compassionate,
And your thoughts are no longer the norm.

Grandkids are special because they love you,
Whether you have gray hair or none at all.
People seem to give you more respect,
And you don't bounce anymore when you fall.
